Our courses offer 40 Continuing Education credits and Consultations hours for the first 50 sessions of training in dIT!
Qualifications for dIT Training Grant Funding
- Have a minimum of an LAC license.
- Work for a Health Provider paneled with the 7 ACC plans*
- Work directly or be willing to work with the Veteran population
- Participate in (IRB)- Independent Review Board on gathering and delivering measurements on each participating Veteran
- Have Veterans fill out measurements prior to each session and collect final paperwork at discharge.
- Complete the 2 hour Be Connected Veteran's Navigator program within 4 weeks of taking the initial 40 hour training course.
- Complete the 50-Session Consultation Hours within 6 months of taking initial training to become certified in dIT.
Qualifications for Training
Complete These Objectives:
- Diagram the characteristics and patterns found in each of the three stages during the application, assessment, and treatment with the DIT model.
- Explore, critique and list possible reasons for developmental delay during trauma.
- Explore, critique, and list measured outcomes found in DIT that appear to reinstate development.
- Identify three key factors that distinguish the differences between process and integration of traumatic events using the DIT model.
- Demonstrate a measurable outcome applying DIT with evidence-based measurements.
